Toby and the New Engine
"Toby and the New Engine" is the fifth episode of ThomasWoodenRailway's series Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends Wooden Railway Adventures, and is the fifth episode of Season 1.
Plot
The Fat Controller arrives at the Sheds one morning to alert the engines that a new engine is arriving. While the engines try to guess what the new engine will look like, Toby boldly proclaims that the new engine will be from the Arlesdale Railway where he once worked. Just as the engines begin to disregard him, the engine arrives. His name is Mike, and he is actually from the Arlesdale Railway. However, while shunting in the Yard later that day, Mike causes a big accident at the turntable. Sir Handel and Spencer become very cross, and Mike runs away in panic. He zooms past the Sheds just as the engines are talking about what a nice engine he is. Toby, fearing Mike might be in trouble, rushes after him. Mike almost stops at the top of Gordon's Hill, but slides down the other side and crashes. Toby arrives and with the help of Butch, Mike is put back on the rails. The two travel to the Docks to get away from the commotion of the Yard. There, Mike reveals to Toby and Boco that he used to have a tender, but it was lost on the way to the Island. Boco remembers seeing a red coal car used on Derek's goods train earlier that day, and after some hard searching by his friends, Mike is reunited with his tender.
